| Bel-Jon traveled by foot throughout the famed monasteries of Mt. Athos to study iconography with the monks for close to six months. Bel-Jon kept a detailed journal of his travels. Most pages are beautifully illustrated with Byzantine motifs and characatures of the monks and friends he met along the way. Bel-Jon's sense of humour is evident throughout the journal. |
