George Petropoulos was Bel-Jon's cousin. They
travelled to the US together from France and
when the Bel-Jons moved to the East Coast they
rekindled their close relationship. Bel-Jon
created the 3 murals as a thank you for the many
country vacations and holidays spent with Coco
and George at their home in Potomac. The
murals were designed to be installed on curved
walls in 3 alcoves.
